Introduction
ALVEST PROX, s.r.o. specializes in supplying the machines and technological equipment for biological and chemical treatment of wastewater, and in complex implementation of waste water treatment plant projects.
Our Web Site in English presents only the main information designed for professional entities and explaining our Company’s capabilities. The Czech version of its Web Site includes a relatively most complex information about our production.

Substantial differences between our Company and those other firms active within domestic Czech and Slovak marketplaces are as follow:
  • We are one of few manufactures of mechanical equipment designed for biological and chemical treatments of waste water – most of other companies purchase their mechanical components and make them assembled at the construction site to form complex technological facilities.

  • We are the sole manufacturer of stainless mechanical aerating equipment for aerobic biological treatment plants within Czech and Slovak Republics.

  • Industrially-patented system of biological treatment called "Author" enables us to lower overall investment costs within Czech Republic environment by ca 30% against any other competitive project designs.

  • Mechanical facilities manufactured by our Company make it possible for us to design municipal treatment plants - SBR System - that saves total costs of investments compared to average project designs applied by designing competitors in Czech Rep. and Slovak Rep. substantially.

  • Kontec or Diskont systems of chemical treatment allow us to design economically very effective specific designs of treating industrial wastewater.

  • R&D of brand new technologies and mechanical equipment are underway ever since the Company has been established. It has been decided that from 1998 in terms of long-term strategy we should orient even more towards the new – economically efficient technologies and equipment – as well as the know-how. Therefore quite frequently we bring forward very economical and effective solutions in every field of effluent and water treatments. And many times these solutions have been applied and known ever since long ago already, and the only thing we do is to present them in a new slightly modified multi-variation concept.
  • Our current slogan which says “The best is the cheapest” corresponds directly with the former one of ours, i.e. “Simplicity + Quality = Your Satisfaction”. All that applies in hand with accomplishing required quality and scope of supply against rival competitive designs.

  • We prefer mechanical equipment in all-stainless version prior to plastics or surface-protected steel.

  • Concerning our supplies of WWTPs we provide circular concrete basins of 6.3 m to 30 m in diameter and 3m to 5 m in height.

Those complex waste water treatment units we have designed so far serve the following:

  • Meat industry – slaughter houses, meat processing
  • Poultry industry
  • Dairy industry
  • Brewery, malt houses, wineries, distilleries
  • Potato processing
  • Canneries
  • Agriculture and other food industry
  • Health
  • Paper industry
  • Textile industry
  • Waste water due to washing rail cars, engine sheds, and car wash
  • Treating the effluents contaminated with crude oil materials from within the power plants and heating power houses
  • Treating wastewater contaminated with crude oil materials inside refinery, oil terminal, and others
  • Concentrated effluents caused by metal parts being deagreased
  • Wastewater contaminated with coal dust, cement and sand
  • And especially for villages and towns – the municipal waste water
  • And others

Technological processes our Company applies successfully to solve treating particular wastewater include the following:

  • Mechanical treatments on screens and thrash racks, and through sedimentation (settling)
  • Chemical flocculation by addition of Fe salts and organic polyflocculant
  • Chemical coagulation through addition of another suitable coagulant
  • Anaerobic pretreatment
  • Anaerobic treatment through activated sludge tank (activation)
  • Separation within lamella separators
  • Separation through filtration within sand filters – horizontal, vertical as well as opened ones – filter cloth microfilters, paper continual filters
  • Oxidation through atmospheric oxygen, chlorine, ozone, etc.
  • Reduction
  • Membrane separation – microfiltration
  • Compressed air flotation
  • Sterilization and disinfection
  • Mechanical dewatering of sludge – belt presses, filter presses, centrifuges, dewatering container type OK-X
  • Deodoration of smelling air.
