This building system of precast concrete circular
basins represents protected (patented) industrial property.
The precast units are always of 6,28 m modular length &
1,2 m height. The lift joints are mainly horizontal and not
vertical. Sealing of horiontálnych joints is much more simple
than that of the vertical ones. Therefore this system of precast
concrete basins is of higher quality compared to other precast
systems.
The advantage of this building system lies also in the fact
the basin is of perfect circular shape and not polygonal like
with other precast systems of circular concrete basins. However
the major advantage of the system is to be able to achieve
the lowest possible price of quality circular concrete basin.
Its steel form is portable and as a result one can expect
manufacture of required precast units in the nearest prefa
plant, or in the most convenient one so as to reduce transportation
costs.
Building companies will be trained as required to ensure proper
erection. Another advantage is less time needed to carry out
on-site erection compared to implementation of monolitic basin.
Armoured slab is always made as monolitic, and sized according
to particular foundation conditions. Its thickness therefore
differs and moves normally from 300 mm to 500 mm. To carry
out erection sufficient space has to be secured round the
basin for crane truck and vehicle bringing the panels.
Typically the precasts for 2 height modules are manufactured
as type ones.

The first basins of this system with 6, 8 & 12m diameters
have been implemented at year end 2003.
